Graduate students interested in conducting multidisciplinary research on cell signal transduction through protein-protein and protein-lipid interactions are welcome to join our group. Ideal candidates have a background in biophysics, biochemistry, chemistry, or a related discipline. Undergraduate Student Research Assistant Opportunities
Undergraduate students interested in pursuing a research career are welcome to join our team. While familiarity with basic laboratory skills is preferred, no prior experience is required.
Expectations:
- Minimum commitment of 8 hours per week in the lab
- GPA of at least 3.5
- Preference for students available for more than one semester
- Training: Students will gain hands-on experience in biochemistry and molecular biology, including:
- DNA cloning techniques
- Protein expression and purification
- Characterization of proteins using a wide range of biochemical and biophysical methods
